US AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY RESPONDS TO YEREVAN DECISON OVER SUSPENDING THE RATIFICATION OF ARMENIA-TURKEY PROTOCOLS

US Ambassador to Turkey James Geoffrey referred to the official Yerevan
decision on suspending the ratification of Armenia-Turkey protocols
meeting the reporters at a reception on Israel's 62nd anniversary.
According to CNNTurk, highlighting that the normalization of ties
is up to Armenia and Turkey, the Ambassador said: "Hopefully, the
process will continue."
Citing its sources, CNNTurk says, the US Ambassador convened a
consultation with Turkish authorities as soon as he got the news on
Yerevan decision, and informed the US disposition over the issue to
the Turkish side.
The US diplomat urged the Turkey to make efforts towards the
ratification of the protocols.
