A BOOK ABOUT ACTIVITY OF ARMENIANS IN WORLD WAR II TO BE PUBLISHED

YEREVAN, APRIL 22, ARMENPRESS: Armenian National Archive intends to
publish a book dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Patriotic
War. Director of the Armenian National Archive Amatuni Virabyan told
Armenpress that materials on the activity of Armenians in 1939-1945
will be included in the book.
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the victory in Great
Patriotic War an exhibition will open on May 7 in the National Archive,
where documents, uniforms, medals and photos concerning those years
will be presented. According to A. Virabyan, thanks to the exhibited
objects and documents interesting details about the participation
and activity of Armenians in World War II will be revealed.
A. Virabyan said that the archive also cooperates with a number of
museums of the republic, which have provided some materials.
