ARMENIA INVITES PEOPLE OF WORLD TO CONSTRUCT THE CITY OF THE WORLD AT EXPO 2010 SHANGHAI

May 1 to Oct 31, 2010, China will be hosting Expo 2010 Shanghai
exhibition.
The theme of Expo 2010 is "Better City, Better Life," representing
the common wish of the whole humankind for a better living in future
urban environments.
Through different sub-themes, Expo 2010 will create blueprints
for future cities and harmonious urban life styles, providing an
extraordinary educational and entertaining platform for visitors of
all nations.
At Expo 2010, Armenia will be represented by City of the World
pavilion, featuring Apricot Garden and Gold & Silk highlights.
Armenian pavilion, aims to invite people of the world to construct
the City of the World. Submitted models by famous architects across
the world are exhibited on the booth in the middle of the pavilion
to listen to opinions from all sides.
In Apricot Garden, visitors can embrace the blossoming apricot trees,
taste the unique apricots of Armenia and enjoy the magical sounds of
Armenian Duduk flute made of wood from the apricot tree.
In Gold & Silk, visitors can discover many interesting facts about
ancient trade relations between Armenia and China, enjoy the unique
mastery of Armenian jewelers.
