CARGO TRANSPORTATIONS VIA "UPPER LARS" BORDER CHECKPOINT ACCORDING TO THE INITIAL INFORMATION WILL LAUNCH FROM MAY 1

YEREVAN, APRIL 21, ARMENPRESS: The cargo transportations via
"Upper Lars" border checkpoint according to the initial information
will launch from May 1, Secretary General of the "Association of
International Transporters of Armenia" Herbert Hambardzumyan told
Armenpress, adding that because of unfavorable weather condition
large volume trucks do not operate yet. He said according to the
initial information the transportations will be implemented from May
1 but did not exclude that in case the weather condition is bad the
transportation again be suspended.
The "Upper Lars" border check-point was closed in 2006 for
reconstruction and reopened in March this year.
