Sargsyan have visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
Today, the Armenian nation is commemorating the 95th anniversary of
the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire. Over 1,500,000 Armenians
living in Western Armenia (present-day Turkey) were killed during the
massacres in early XX, hundreds of thousands were scattered all over
the world.
The President, the First Lady, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II,
Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, Chairman of the
Constitutional Court Gagik Haroutyunyan, a governmental delegation
led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Prosecutor General Aghvan
Hovsepyan, Director of the National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan,
Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdassaryan laid
flowers at the Memorial.
