"Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's decision to freeze the
ratification of the Zurich protocols is directly related to his last
visit to Moscow," Azerbaijani political expert Vafa Guluzade said.
"This statement is not surprising. As I have repeatedly said, Russia,
Armenia's patron, does not want opening the Armenian-Turkish borders
and integration of the two countries," the expert said.
"So, they did everything so that they might accuse Azerbaijan of
disrupting the Zurich process. Armenia froze American initiative
alleging Turkey's preconditions related to a need for progress in
settlement of the Karabakh conflict."
"Opening of the Armenia-Turkey borders is impossible until Armenia
is Russia's outpost," Guluzade said.
