YEREVAN, APRIL 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian side has two advantages
over Azerbaijan in the issue of the Karabakh conflict settlement:
it tries to find a peaceful solution to the problem and it defends
its homeland, Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanian declared at
the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial on April 24 - on the 95th anniversary of
the Armenian Genocide. "Azerbaijan is trying to apply psychological
pressure on us and the international community, but it is useless
because if Azerbaijan tries to use force against our people, it
will also have very negative consequences for Azerbaijan. We have an
advantage: we defend our homeland," the minister said.
