good state>, - the leader of the Armenian branch of Research of
Armenian Architecture, Samvel Karapetyan, said at the event dedicated
to the 95th anniversary of the Armenian genocide and held in Nagornyy
Karabakh.
Having mentioned that thousands of Armenian spiritual and historical
monuments of the Western Armenia were ruined Samvel Karapetyan said
that they managed to take photo just a small part of them. 'Today our
mission is to gather all the evidences, even the most miserable ones,
as each of them is a passport of this territory', - he said and added
that Armenian monuments are being actively destroyed at the territory
of modern Turkey. He also said that since 2010 the research works in
Western Armenia have been financed at the governmental level.
