FOREIGN MINISTER OF ARMENIA RECEIVES NEW RUSSIAN CO-CHAIR OF OSCE MINSK GROUP

ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Igor
Popov, newly appointed Russian Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for
settlement of the Karabakh conflict, on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry
press-service reported.
Edward Nalbandian welcomed the guest and congratulated him on
appointment. The minister expressed confidence that I. Popov will make
his significant contribution to the settlement process. For his part,
Igor Popov thanked Edward Nalbadnian and assured him that he will do
his best to assist in settling the conflict. The two parties discussed
the current stage of the settlement process. I. Popov presented his
impressions from the meetings with the Azerbaijani leadership in Baku.
