ARMENIAN GENOCIDE NOT HISTORICAL ISSUE BUT RATHER CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY AND CIVILIZATION

In many modern video materials and publications devoted to Armenian
Genocide in the Ottoman Empire there are references to historical
documents and maps, sources of which are very difficult to access
by public.
In this connection, company Aviainfotel, within its project on
preparation of home reading materials, has decided to continue
publication of cartographical and historical materials on
http://menq.am , which can help to better realize scales of crimes
made by Turkey against the civilization in general and Armenians
in particular - says Mr. Samvel Muradyan general constructor of
Aviainfotel.
In first publication jointly with Matenadaran it has been created the
map of Armenian cultural centers of the period till 1600 year. Viewing
samples of manuscripts, created in these centers, it becomes better
understandable what a high level cultural centers were eliminate. Now
the map is enriched with information about quantity of population
living in these territories and results of demographic changes after
genocide in 1915. Also the map of Treaty of Sevres is added. Detail
study of this map helps to better understand that the problem, which
engaged in Treaty of Sevres governments were trying to solve, was
concerning not only to relationships between Turks and Armenians,
but also relationships of Turks with many other nations settling
Asia Minor.
Massacres of Greeks in Smyrnia and other cities of modern Turkey,
which were populated by Greeks and decided to be given to Greece in
accordance with Treaty of Sevres, shows that positive experience of
Turks to solve territorial problems by population eradication is not
limited to Armenians - says Samvel Muradyan.
"We will regularly add historical and contemporary materials, necessary
for illumination of the fact, that Armenian Genocide in 1915 in Ottoman
Empire, were continued in the result of geo-political catastrophes of
the beginning of the 20th century in all territories where by this
time kemalist Turkish army could enter. Analysis of many articles
in the internet forums and blogs shows that many people consider
Armenian Genocide as historical issue. The materials that we are
going to put together shows that problems of crime against humanity
and civilization are actual. As Shakespeare says -May one be pardoned
and retain the offence? That cannot be since he is still possess'd of
those effects for which he did the murder", - says Samvel Muradyan,
