YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian-Chinese rubber producing
factory will be put into operation May 3 in China, Albert Sukiasyan,
deputy director of 'Nairit 2' factory reported Armenpress. He informed
that more than 100 million USD was spent for the construction of the
factory. 40% of the stocks belong to Armenia, and China owns 60% of
the stocks. The general investment of Armenia was the intellectual
property. According to Albert Sukiasyan, it is intended that the
factory will produce 30.000 tonne of chloroprene rubber per year. He
did not exclude that the volume of production may increase in the
future, because, he says, there is a great demand for rubber in China.
He added that the whole production will be consumed in China.
