It is impossible for Turkey to mediate the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
as a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian said.
"This is ruled out. The Armenian president and foreign minister have
many times explained why," Nalbandian said in an interview with the
Armenian Public TV.
He, however, welcomed Iran's desire to help resolve the Nagorno-
Karabakh conflict. "Iran expressed its desire to help, assist the
Karabakh settlement, and of course we welcome this. We also value
Iran's balanced approach towards the Karabakh issue," Nalbandian said.
