BAKO SAHAKYAN SENDS CONDOLENCE LETTER TO THE FAMILY OF VALENTIN OSKOTSKY

On 29 April President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan sent
a condolence letter to the family of Valentin Oskotsky, member
of the pardon commission under the Russian President, member of
the International Literary Critics Association, co-chairman of the
"Karabakh" Committee of the Russian intelligentsia in connection with
his death, the central information department of Artsakh President's
office reported.
The letter runs as follows:
"I have learnt with deep regret about the death of Valentin Oskotsky.
Valentin Oskotsky was enjoying high respect in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Practically from the very beginning of the Karabakh national
liberation movement, being among the founders and leaders of the
"~SKarabakh" Committee of the Russian intelligentsia" (KRIK)
non-governmental organization, he actively defended our nation's
right to self-determination and made a considerable contribution to
our fight for restoring the historical justice.
Accept my deep and sincere condolences. In this difficult hour I
share with you the whole pain and sorrow of this irretrievable loss".
