There were two reasons why the expected rally in the Republic of
Nagorno Karabakh, did not take place on July 22 when the International
Court of Justice ruled that the declaration of Kosovo's independence
was in line with the international law, of sociologist Aharon Adibekyan
told a press conference today.
The first reason according to him was that most of the Artsakh people
did not know about that ruling.
But the main reason the announced rally was annulled, in his word,
is that the Karabakhi authorities did not want to one more time stir
up false hopes among the Karabakhi people that it will be possible
to reach recognition also for Karabakh based on Kosovo's precedent.
"This is a psychological state," explained Adibekyan.
