RECOGNITION OF NKR NOT TO HINDER KARABAKH PEACE PROCESS, NKR VICE- SPEAKER SAYS

On July 28, Vice Speakers of Armenian National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan
and Arevik Petrosyan received Vice Speaker of NKR National Assembly
Arthur Tovmasyan. The officials touched upon the Armenia-Artsakh
inter-parliamentary cooperation, the prospects of diplomatic diplomacy,
as well as The Hague International Court's verdict on Kosovo's'
independence, Armenian Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.
Tovmasyan stressed the precedent for recognition of Kosovo's'
independence may contribute to the international recognition of
Nagorno-Karabakh. In this regard he attached significance to the
inter-parliamentary diplomacy. According to him, the recognition of
Nagorno-Karabakh will not hinder the Karabakh peace process.
The diplomats also discussed the recent developments in the
peace process, as well as presentation of Karabakh issue in
inter-parliamentary agencies.
