765 million extended for free books
YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS: On the decision of the Armenian
government about 765 million has been extended this year for providing
pupils of junior classes with free textbooks and educational
literature and for publishing textbooks for senior schools. Head of
the Public Relations and Information Department of the Armenian
Education and Science Ministry Arthur Baghdasaryan told Armenpress
that in this new academic year the number of the new textbooks will
reach about 2 dozens. The cost of every item makes 820-4300 Drams.
