International Tenders for Improvement of Quality of Garbage Removal in
Yerevan
YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS: International tenders are being held for
the improvement of quality of garbage removal in Yerevan. The
`Fichner' German company conducted a study in Yerevan and presented a
report to the municipality. Afterwards an international tender was
held and the British `International Ltd' company was selected for
preparing a package on organizing garbage removal.
Gagik Khachatryan, head of Yerevan Municipality's public utilities
department, told Armenpress that the package is expected to play a
guiding role. After the expiry of the time-limit of the preparation
another tender will be held. The company, selected as a result of the
tender, will carry out the garbage removal works in Yerevan.
The package, prepared by the British `International Ltd' company, is
expected to be handed to Yerevan Municipality 2012.
