811 cases of illicit traffic in drugs recorded
811 cases of illicit traffic in narcotic drugs, psychotropic
substances and precursors were disclosed by Armenian Police in the
first six months of 2010 against 539 cases in the same period of the
previous year.
423 out of the cases is illicit traffic in narcotic drugs,
psychotropic substances and precursors aimed at their realization or
their illicit realization (Article 266, Criminal Code of Republic of
Armenia) against 228 cases recorded last year.
135 cases of administrative offenses were recorded in the sphere,
Police press service reported.
