BORIS GELFAND TO BE LEVON ARONYAN'S FIRST COMPETITOR IN THE TOURNAMENT FOR THE TITLE OF THE WORLD CHAMPION

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS: The tournament for the pretenders to
the title of the world chess champion will be held in autumn 2011 in
the Russian town of Kazan.
An official from the Armenian Chess Federation told Armenpress that
8 chess players will partake in the chess tournament, including Grand
Master Levon Aronyan. Bulgarian Veselin Topalov, Israeli Boris Gelfand,
Russian Vladimir Kramnik, Gata Kamsky from the USA, Azerbaijani Teimur
Rajabov and Shahriyar Mammadyarov will come forth in the tournament
as well.
In this tournament B. Gelfand will be L. Aronyan's first competitor.
