We should not be extremely inspired by the Kosovo precedent,
Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Galust Sahakyan
    told a press conference today.

"The American side has already declared the world uses double
standards. This decision refers to Kosovo only. It cannot be applied
to Ossetia or Karabakh. This is the case. This comes to prove that
sometimes democratic values become secondary against the background
    of economic relations."

"If the right of peoples to self-determination was not primary,
there would be no more than twenty countries in the world today. The
international community has once again come to understand that the
self-determination of peoples is the most important issue," Galust
    Sahakyan said.

According to the MP, The Hague Court ruling on Kosovo is first of all
a result of a political decision, pointing to the directions Armenia
could use to derive benefits from the Kosovo precedent.

"The Armenian diplomacy should work with friendly countries to have
them recognize the independence of Nagorno Karabakh," Galust Sahakyan
    stated.
