EXHIBITION OF PARAVON MIRZOYAN TO OPEN IN ST. PETERSBURG

YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS: Personal exhibition of director of the
Armenian National Gallery Paravon Mirzoyan will open in St. Petersburg
September 3. "The exhibition is involved in the row of events dedicated
to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian community of Petersburg. I
have always dreamt of such exhibition as for eight years I lived and
studied in Petersburg and it is a home city for me," Paravon Mirzoyan
said today at a news conference, adding that he is planning to have
a personal exhibition in Serbia as well.
Currently the National Gallery has organized an exhibition in Artsakh
as well. "For the first time "Artsakh Pano" collection has been formed,
which was shown not only in the Freedom square of Stepanakert but
in the NKR culture ministry as well," Mirzoyan said, adding that a
number of exhibitions will be organized till winter and their main
goal will be to spread Armenian art in the wider public layers of
Armenia and Artsakh.
