ARMENIA RANKS 4TH IN GROWTH OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCE PRICE INDEX

ArmInfo. Armenia occupies the 4th position among the CIS states in
growth of industrial produce price index by 32,6% in Jan-Jun 2010 as
compared to Jan- Jun 2009.
The CIS Interstate Statistical Committee reported 21% growth of
industrial produce price index on CIS states in Jan-Jun 2010.
Azerbaijan occupied the 1st place among the CIS states in growth
of industrial produce price index by 55,5% in Jan-Jun 2010. The 2nd
place is occupied by Tajikistan, with 39,9% growth, the 3rd place -
by Kazakhstan, with 39% growth, the 4th place - by Armenia, the 5the
place - by Kyrgyzstan, with 22,1% growth, the 6th place - by Ukraine,
with 21,1% growth, the 7th place - by Russia, with 19,6% growth, the
8th place - by Belarus, with 10,1% growth, the 9th place - by Moldova,
with 8,5% growth of industrial produce price index.
To recall, 12,3% growth was fixed in Armenia's industry in Jan-Jun
2010, and in June as compared to May - 6,6% growth. Volume of
industrial produce in absolute terms made up 371 bln drams ($965.2 mln)
or 27,8% of GDP as of July 1, 2010 (ArmInfo).
