YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS: As part of "One Nation, One Culture"
All-Armenian festival October 12-16 in the capital of Nagorno Karabakh
Stepanakert "Challenges of the 21st century: Information Security
and Armenian Mass Media" conference will be held organized by the
Armenian Diaspora Ministry, Journalists' Union on the initiative of
All-Armenian Association of Mass Media.
Diaspora press service told Armenpress that representative of Armenian,
Diaspora mass media as well as representatives of not Armenian mass
media will take part in the event.
Currently an organizational committee from mass media has been formed
consisting of 42 people which is dealing with the organizational
issues.
"In this round we are sending invitations to almost all mass media
which may present one representative each," Tigran Harutyunyan said,
adding that before reaching Yerevan mass media representative must
take care of the financial expenses and the rest will be taken care
by the ministry.
As part of the conference the prize giving ceremony of the all-Armenian
contest declared by the World Armenian Congress Armenia branch and
Diaspora Ministry on "Notable Contribution to the Preservation of
Armenian Identity" will take place. Familiarizing visits to Artsakh's
Tigranakert, Gandzasar and other cultural places are expected to
take place. October 16 after the conference the participants will
have an opportunity to be present at the opening of world's longest
cable way in Tatev.
