ARMENIAN FM RECEIVES NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN TO ARMENIA

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received today newly
appointed ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Ata Serdarov on the
occasion of handing the copies of his credentials.
Foreign Ministry press and information department told Armenpress that
congratulating the ambassador on the appointment Edward Nalbandyan
expressed conviction that during his mission the ambassador will
promote the consolidation of the Armenian-Turkmen bilateral relations.
Minister Nalbandyan and the ambassador discussed also issues on
activating Armenian-Turkmen reciprocal visits and political dialogue,
expansion of legal-agreement field, development of trade-economic
relations etc.
During the meeting partnership within the framework of the
international organizations has also been discussed.
The interlocutors also discussed developments in the Central Asian
and South Caucasian regions.
