Results of the Jivan Gasparyan International Duduk Competition to be
Concluded October
YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS: The Jivan Gasparyan International
Duduk Competition, which started upon the initiative of the `World
Armenian Congress' NGO and `Armenians Union of Russia' All-Russian
NGO, still goes on. The results of the competition will be concluded
October during the award ceremony.
Vladimir Aghayan, deputy president of the `World Armenian Congress'
and `Armenians Union of Russia', told Armenpress that junior and young
duduk players from Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora are eligible for
partaking in the competition. He said the number of applications is
not clear yet, as the data will be concluded in the middle of
September.
`Our goal is to reveal and support talented young people, as well as
organize exchange of pedagogical practice in the teaching of young
duduk players,' Vladimir Aghayan said.
The Jivan Gasparyan International Duduk Competition is being held in
association with RA Diaspora and Culture Ministries.
