YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS: By saying Tigran the Great Armenian
people mean a joint dream of having a powerful and strong homeland,
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told today journalists, adding
they have forever connected that dream with Tigran the Great, as they
have received potential from him. Thanks to it we have revealed in
our history such attractiveness and strength that has always inspired
our people to fight for restoration of independent state system.
"Tigran the Great has always inspired us, and today, too, it is
splendid occasion to refer to the history of the great king, to take
lessons from it and open new windows to future," the Prime Minister
stressed.
Within the framework of the events dedicated to the 2150 anniversary
of Tigran the Great a showing of documentary film will be organized
December 3 at the National Art gallery of Armenia and children's
exhibition will open December 8 at National Aesthetic Center. All the
events will be conducted under the high patronage of Armenian Prime
Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
