ARMENIAN PM: "TIGRAN THE GREAT HAS ALWAYS HAD AN IMPORTANT ROLE FOR ARMENIAN NATION"

Armenian Premiere Minister partook today in opening ceremony of the
exhibition devoted to Tigran the Great 2150th anniversary.
The events devoted to the Armenian great king Tigran the Great are
holding under Armenian PM's high favor. Armenian Defense Minister
Seyran Ohanyan, bishop Navasard Kjoyan also took place in the opening
ceremony, press service of Armenian Government reports.
The head of Armenian Government walked around the halls, looked
at the paintings, sculptures. The best work will be awarded with
"Vardkes Surenyanc 150" medal.
Tigran Sarsgyan noted while answering to the journalists' questions:
"Now celebrating Tigran Mets 2150th anniversary, we aim to realize
the role of Tigran Mets for our nation and history. Saying Tigran
the Great we mean the idea of huge and strong motherland which always
has been tied with Tigran the Great."
Tigran Sargsyan underlined the example of Tigran the Great always
has given strength to our nation to struggle.
Armenian PM also rated the fact the ancient city Tigranakert in
Artsakh is being excavated by Armenian professors.
