ARMENIAN, HUNGARIAN PRESIDENTS DISCUSS ARMENIA-EU RELATIONS

On December 2, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Hungarian
President Pal Schmitt on the sidelines of OSCE Summit in Astana.
The Presidents stressed the friendly relations between the two states
and emphasized Armenia-Hungary inter-parliamentary friendship groups
greatly contributed to their expansion, RA Presidential press service
informed NEWS.am.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to Hungarian authorities
and people for their warm attitude towards the Armenian community
in Hungary.
The officials also discussed the cooperation within international
agencies and Armenia-EU relations, taking into account Hungary will
take over OSCE chairmanship in 2012. Pal Schmitt stressed the necessity
for cooperation within EU-initiated "Eastern Partnership" project.
