YEREVAN HOSTS CONFERENCE TO MARK ARF 120TH ANNIVERSARY

A conference to mark the 120th anniversary of Armenian traditional
party Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) kicked off in Yerevan
today, attended by members of the party, historians, guests.
"ARF played a key role in many decisive events in Armenian people's
history, and now it stays among the most important forces in Armenia's
political life," member of ARF Bureau, Levon Lazarian stated.
The conference addresses national liberation struggle in 1890-1918,
restoration of Armenian independence, fight for Diaspora organization.
