Turkish Minister of Industry and Commerce Nihat Ergun arrived in Kars
city and answered the reporters' questions at the airport.
Commenting on the statement that Kars suffers economic hardships
due to Armenia-Turkey closed border, the minister again recalled the
Karabakh conflict resolution.
"Turkey regularly takes steps to establish peace and stability in
Caucasus. The swift resolution to Karabakh conflict is a major task
for Turkey as well. The conflict settelmenet is of great significance
both for Armenia and Azerbaijan and other countries in the region,
including Turkey," the Minister said, stressing if Turkey were not
a tolerant country, Armenia would have face more problems.
