ARMENIA'S INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT IN JAN.-OCT. RISES BY 9.8% YEAR-ON-YEAR

YEREVAN, December 6, /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in the first
ten months of 2010 rose by 9.8% year-on-year. In terms of industrial
output growth Armenia was sixth among former Soviet republics which
make the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), according to CIS
Statistical Committee.
In October Armenia's industrial production grew by 2.3% from September.
According to CIS Statistical Committee, all member counties saw growth
of their industrial output.
The average year-on-year growth was 9%. The largest growth of 14.5%
was posted by Kyrgyzstan. It was followed by Tajikistan- 10.9%,
Ukraine - 10.7%, Belarus, -10.5%, as well as Kazakhstan - 10.4% and
Russia - 8.6%. The lowest rates of 8.3%, 7.6% and 3% respectively were
shown by Uzbekistan, Moldova and Azerbaijan. No data was available
for Turkmenistan.
