The economic situation in Armenia and its unfavorable environment,
has forced local businessmen to relocate their business activities from
Armenia, to places with better conditions. In this regard it has become
evident a new tendency has emerged where Armenian businessmen prefer to
start business in Georgia by relocating their activities from Armenia
into the neighboring state. As Professor David Gasparian stated,
around 200 businessmen have moved their activities into Georgia. The
reason for such moves are due to a vividly better business environment
in Georgia and therefore Armenian businessmen find it more attractive
and profitable for them to conduct activities in Georgia.
