ARMENIA'S DEFENSE MINISTRY: ARMED FORCES OF ARMENIA DO NOT HOLD EXERCISES IN TERRITORIES OF SECURITY BELT AROUND NKR

ArmInfoThe Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic periodically
holds exercises according to the schedule, spokesman of the NKR
Defense Ministry Senor Hasratyan told ArmInfo.
When commenting on the information in the Azerbaijani mass media about
"holding of large-scale military exercises by the Armenian Army" with
participation of a "heavy artillery", S. Hasratyan said the matter
concerns nothing else but planned events being part of the process
of enhancing the combat readiness of the Karabakh Army. In general,
Hasratyan said, such an increased attention of the Azerbaijani media
to strengthening of the combat readiness of the Defense Army just
gladdens.
In his turn, spokesman of Armenia's Defense Ministry, Colonel Seyran
Shahsuvaryan emphasized that the Azerbaijanis try to misinform once
again. "I used to multiply say and remind again that the Armed Forces
of Armenia do not hold exercises in the territories of the security
belt around the NKR", Shahsuvaryan said.
