ARMAVIA HAS PROVED ITS HIGH SECURITY AND QUALITY ONCE AGAIN

ArmInfo. Armavia air company has been granted an IATA certificate in
the framework of the Operational Safety Audit program (IOSA). The
certificate has confirmed the safety of Armavia's services and the
company's commitment to ensure high safety standards, President of
Armavia Mikhail Bagdassarov said during the certification ceremony.
During the audit IATA experts inspected Armavia's activities in line
with over 900 IOSA standards covering such fields as aviation security,
cargo operations, flight control
IOSA certificate is an obligatory prerequisite for IATA membership
and is a kind of pass into the world's biggest aviation alliances,
an opportunity to develop cooperation in the framework of codeshare
and interline agreements.
Presently, Armavia carries out over 100 flights a week to 35
destinations in 20 countries. In 2009 the company carried 700,000
people.
