THE SECOND PROJECT ON THE CLIMATE CHANGES PRESENTED

Today in Yerevan launched the discussion over the second national
project on Armenian Climate Changes. The project has been introduced
by the RA Culture Protection ministry and the UNDP.
As the nature protection minister Aram Harutyunyan mentioned there
have already been formed one report over climate changes and this is
the second one.
"The main reason of the present discussion refers to the protection
of the ecology and the change of the climate. This message contains
at list three main directions", - Harutyunyan said and presented the
situation and the expectations we can have for the nearest future.
The Minister informed that the problem of climate refers to all
spheres, healthcare, agriculture, development. It is a global problem
and all the countries of the world are worried for the climate changes
which are a result of hothouse gases.
Aram Harutyunyan also mentioned that the developed countries have taken
up the responsibility to lessen them, and the developing countries
try to have their own contribution by the Kito's clean mechanisms in
decreasing the hothouse gases.
On the discussion were present the RA Nature Protection Minister
Aram Harutyunayn, representatives of UNO and OSCE, "Haypethidromet"
and other organizations.
