GENERAL DIRECTOR OF SCR MET WITH THE MANAGEMENT "RUSALARMENAL"

YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. On Friday Shevket Shaydullin, General
Director of South-Caucasian Railway (SCR) met with the management of
CJSC "RusalArmenal".
"Heads of the companies discussed a number of issues regarding mutual
cooperation. Shaydullin told the guests about reconstruction and
modernization of railway work with the clients and IT investments.
"Today we work by new regulations. Last year we established Road
Center of Transport Service which deals with the provision of high
quality services to the clients, development and implementation of
transparent price policy. Despite significant decrease of economic
indicators in the country, transportation by railway exceeded 100%
in 2009", said Shaydullin.
Management of CJSC "RusalArmenal" was pleased with the work of two
companies. Last year SCR delivered raw-material ordered by CJSC
"RusalArmenal" in time.
The guests visited Road Center of Transport Service where they followed
the place, time and date of arriving cargo.
Technology of cargo delivery suggested by SCR was welcomed by the
delegation of CJSC "RusalArmenal". The parties agreed on organization
of future meetings with the aim of enhancement of mutually beneficial
cooperation.
Concession management of "Armenian railway" is implemented by CJSC
"South Caucasian Railway" which is 100% affiliate of Open JSC "Russian
Railway". SCR accepted the railway stock of CJSC "Armenian railway"
on its balance from June 1, 2008 according to Concession Agreement
signed on February 13, 2008. The terms of concession management is
for 30 years with the right of prolongation for another 10 years.
