ARMENIA WILL LOSE NOTHING IN CASE THE ARMENIAN-TURKISH PROCESS FAILS: MP FROM RPA

ArmInfo. The Armenian party will lose nothing in case if Turkey refuses
to ratify the Protocols, signed in Zurich, and if the Armenian-Turkish
process comes to naught, Head of the Republican party faction Galust
Sahakyan said at a press-conference today.
"The current process of establishing a dialogue with Turkey has given
nothing to the Armenian party as yet. Nothing essential has been
reached. Signing of the protocols is not a finish of the whole process
but its beginning", G. Sahakyan said. Along with it, he added that
tension in relations between the two countries will grow in case if the
negotiations fail. According to Sahakyan, the forthcoming 2010 election
is one of the reasons for protraction of the protocol ratification
by Turkey. The Turkish authorities try to understand what step is
acceptable for the voters - approval of the Protocols or waiving.
