GAGIK TSARUKYAN DONATES AMD 20 MILLION TO YSLU

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Yerevan State Linguistic University hosted a meeting
with President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, Prosperous
Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan Tuesday, February 16.
The meeting was organized to celebrate Guinness World Record of
YSLU gymnastics instructor David Fahradyan, who performed the most
consecutive gymnastic high bar giants (350) in 10 minutes.
Mr. Tsarukyan donated to YSLU AMD 20 million to be allocated for the
needs of university professors and students, paying tuition fees.
"Though unaware of 75th anniversary YSLU marks this year, I'm glad
to contribute to the progress of University's activities," Prosperous
Armenia party leader said at the meeting.
YSLU rector, Suren Zolyan, in turn, stressed the importance of
contribution, especially noting that university professors' salary
raise and easing expenses of students, paying university fees, are
among priority tasks.
Gagik Tsarukyan was awarded with YSLU commemorative medal.
