U.S. Ambassador to Turkey James Jeffrey replied to journalists'
questions in Turkish parliament on Tuesday.
According to Turkish Zaman, Jeffrey expressed hope that Turkish
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will manage to effect the desired
results in Iran concerning its nuclear program. "We expect a lot from
Turkey on the matter," said Jeffrey.
Asked about Genocide, U.S. Ambassador evasively replied, "U.S.
considers Armenia-Turkey reconciliation process very useful. U.S.
backs the process in both countries' parliaments and attaches major
significance to roadmap."
