ARMENIA, TURKMENISTAN TO EXPAND COOPERATION

RA Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan paid a courtesy visit to doyen
of the CIS diplomatic missions to Moscow, Ambassador of Turkmenistan
to Russia Khalnazar Agakhanov. The Turkmen Ambassador congratulated
Yesayan on his appointment and wished him success in his mission.
The press service of the RA Embassy in Armenia told NEWS.am that
Ambassador Agakhanov pointed out the Armenian Government's effective
steps to overcome the economic crisis.
Yesayan underlined the importance of mutually beneficial
Armenian-Turkmen cooperation. He stressed the need for developing
this cooperation, as well as the Armenian and Turkmen Embassies'
contribution to this process.
The sides also discussed other issues of bilateral and multilateral
cooperation.
