CATHOLICOS'S VISIT TO JERUSALEM

On February 15-16, the All-Armenian Catholicos Garegin II was visiting
Jerusalem.
In the Tel Aviv airport Garegin II was received by Israeli
governmental members and representatives of the Armenian community.
In the evening, the 20th anniversary of Torgom Patriarch's reign and
his 91st anniversary were celebrated. Representatives of Latin, Greek
and other churches participated in the ceremony.
On February 16, the session of the patriarchy was continued headed by
Garegin II. Issues relating to the problems the Armenian Patriarchy of
Jerusalem faces were discussed.
The All-Armenian Catholicos and the members of the delegation visited
St. Harutyun temple to honor the tomb of the Lord, the press service
of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin reports.
