TATUL MANASERYAN: ECONOMIC GROWTH MAY EXCEED ALL EXPECTATIONS IN 2010

The economic crisis has not been fully overcome, but the hard days
are behind and Armenia has opportunities to revive, stabilize and
recover its economy," Adviser to the Chairman of the National Assembly,
economist Tatul Manaseryan told a press conference today.
According to the economist, the economic growth may exceed all
expectations if the existing resources are used correctly.
As for the social problems expected this year connected with the raise
of gas prices, Tatul Manaseryan said it would affect broad layers of
society. "However, the proposed subsidization will allow easing the
hardships of the most deprived layers of the population," he said.
