Signing of military cooperation agreement between Azerbaijan and
Turkey might become cause of the World War III, Azerbaijani expert
Elman Nasirov told Azeri Olaylar newspaper.
>From the military capability viewpoint, Turkey that joined NATO in
1952, takes the second place after U.S. out of alliance 25 member
states.
"In case military cooperation agreement is signed and Turkey backs
Azerbaijan in Karabakh issue, the country will come to close quarters
with Russia. In this case, NATO member states should intervene in a
matter that might lead to World War III," Nasirov noted.
The expert also underlined that Turkey is the major ally country in
Azerbaijan's integration into EU.
