PROTESTERS HEADED FOR RA CONSTITUTIONAL COURT

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The participants of the protest against ratification
of RA-Turkish Protocols have organized a torch march to Armenia's
Constitutional Court to submit to CC Chairman the legally substantiated
conclusion on the documents' threats to Armenia's national security.
Gathering near the CC building, the protesters will hold a
hunger-strike, waiting for the court's decision, Head of ARFD Supreme
Body Hrayr Karapetyan said.
The protocols aimed at normalization of bilateral ties and opening of
the common border between Armenia and Turkey were signed in Zurich
by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and his Turkish
counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on October 10, 2009, after a series of
diplomatic talks held through Swiss mediation.
