ARMENIAN-TURKISH PROTOCOLS CONFORMABLE TO RA CONSTITUTION

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia
found the protocols on normalization of relations between Armenia
and Turkey conformable with the RA Organic Law. The verdict was read
out by CC Chairman Gagik Harutyunyan, a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent
reported from the scene.
"The decision will come into effect after announcement and is not
appealable," Harutyunyan said.
The Protocols aimed at normalization of bilateral ties and opening of
the common border between Armenia and Turkey were signed in Zurich
by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and his Turkish
counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on October 10, 2009, after a series of
diplomatic talks held through Swiss mediation.
