Joseph Tsintsadze "We are sick and tired of Armenians' claims to
neighbors.
How long will they continue claiming for neighbors' lands. Their
claim for the lands of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have already
become ridiculous. Why should we give them our historical lands?",
said Georgian political scientist Joseph Tsintsadze.
"I do not understand what Armenians have lost in Karabakh and
Javakheti. I advise them to self-determine in Florida, California,
Krasnodar, Marseilles where they are settled. These are very
picturesque places but I do not think that Armenians will have courage
to claim for the lands of the United States, France or Russia. They
can do so only to their neighbors though they should be friends with
neighbors. Armenians have recently felt hurt with our president who
said he respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. I do not
understand why feel hurt if he repeated the truth of the international
law. As for Javakh, I have many historical documents that prove that
Russian general Paskevich resettled many Armenians there in the 19th
century. These facts occurred not 1000 years ago. Only 200 years have
passed since that time. No one tells Armenians to leave these lands
but they have to learn Georgian as no one is going to grant exclusive
rights to them. All the national minorities must know the language of
the country where they reside, the Georgian political scientist said.
