Decision on Armenian-Turkish protocols by Armenia's Constitutional
Court is a serious signal for Turkey to start answering to obligations,
said at today's press conference Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian. He also pointed that Armenia is carrying out its pledge.
Ratification for protocols is more complicated process in Armenia, than
in Turkey, said minister. "Turkish Parliament received documents in
October, while in Armenia these protocols moved to Court which made the
decision on January 12, though had time till late February," he said.
"I wouldn't like to think Turkey deliberately blocks the ratification
process as in this case it means Turkey doesn't observe by commitments
to ratify documents in reasonable term. Reasonable term means do not
create false barriers," added Nalbandian.
