Russia to support Armenia, Azerbaijan in peace talks
RBC, 14.01.2010, Yerevan 14:52:47.Russia will actively support
Armenia and Azerbaijan's attempts to find common ground in settling
the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated
during today's joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart.
"The issue of regional security is certainly of great concern to
us," the minister stated, stressing that Russia did not have any
specific goals in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict's
resolution. According to Lavrov, the main goal is for Armenia and
Azerbaijan to find a solution that would satisfy both nations.
