THE ARMENIAN TOURNAMENT LAUNCHES ON JANUARY 22

On 22 January in the central Chess house of Armenia will launch
the men's chess tournament. For the place of the champion of the
Republic Zaven Andriasyan, Davit Kalashyan, Ashot Anastasyan, Tigran
Kotanjyan, Artashes Minasyan, Hrant Melkumyan, Davit Petrosyan,
Arthur Chibukhchyan, Robert Hovhannisyan and Tigran Petrosyan compete.
On the women's tournament, which launches on January 24, 10 women
chess players partake.
The tournaments that will end on February 4 will take place in a
circular system, and the winners will be included in the Armenian
national teams.
