LEVON TER-PETROSYAN AND EU SPECIAL ENVOY TO SOUTH CAUCASUS MEET

ArmInfo. Leader of the Armenian National Congress, the first President
of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan met EU Special Envoy to South Caucasus
Peter Semneby on January 21.
As ANC press service told ArmInfo, the parties discussed the
prospects of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as
normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. They also touched
on the issues of democracy development in Armenia, in particular,
the problem of release of political prisoners. Representatives of ANC
Central Office, Levon Zurabyan and Avetis Avagyan, were also present
at the meeting.
